I have been a patient at Little St John Street Surgery for some 25years and have had nothing less than exceptional treatment and service. However now that I’m in my eighties my calls and visits are becoming more frequent than I would like. They have recently cared and looked after me through kidney stones and throat cancer and other issues due to ones advancing years. They are brilliant I cannot thank them enough. | ||||||

My 85 year old father in law had a fall near the river side when visiting the town today. Popped into local Boots for advice as he had torn the skin off the top of two fingers and was bleeding quite heavily from the wounds. The pharmacist advised me to pop into Little St John street surgery and gave directions. I entered the surgery and explained at the reception desk what had happened they were very helpful and invited me to bring my Father in law in and their Nurse would assist him. I filled out the relevant paperwork and after a little wait he was seen to by a very lovely Nurse who cleaned his wounds and dressed them and checked him over then gave him a tetanus too. My family and I would like to say how nice it was to receive such a prompt friendly and efficient service from the surgery and staff, much appreciated after a bit of a wobble on our family day out. | ||||||

I signed up here as a temporary resident for the summer, having had surgery & needing to see a nurse initially. The front desk staff were helpful, friendly & efficient while registering me and quick to answer the phone when I called. The nurse I saw was excellent: professional, friendly and extremely thorough, booking me a return visit a few days later to double-check all was well with my surgical incision. A later visit to the GP was perhaps most impressive of all: I was given an appointment less than 90 minutes after asking for one at the front desk; the doctor was superb - a great listener, decisive and quick to arrange the necessary tests/meds. The blood test I required was done another 5 minutes after this appointment by a delightful staff member - in my usual practice, I'd have to drive 30+ minutes away to queue for 40 minutes just for the blood test, so to have it all done there & then on the spot was impressive. I am truly impressed: I've experienced the highest level of professional & highly efficient care. Superb! | ||||||
