Dr PhilliAlstead is obnoxious, arrogant, malicious, confrontational and definitely someone who needs close scrutiny by the medical profession. I would have contacted The General Medical Council in London to lodge a complaint about his conduct, but he is nearing retirement, so this course of action would prove redundant. I have expressed my serious concerns to the surgery manager in a lengthy telephone conversation in this regard. I would definitely advise having someone accompany you if you have a one on one meeting with him. He has a reputation which preceded him. PETER ROBERTS. R.B.T.C. DIP ED.
