Apr 18 2013 I needed some help and support during the night as my mother had dementia and began to wonder. I was unable to rest thinking all the time of my mother’s welfare. I contacted Horizon and they were able to send care workers in twice during the night through to the early hours around 3am. This gave me huge peace of mind. I did not know there was a service like it, I have been told by my mother’s social worker that they are the only organisation that provides this unique service. It gave me such peace of mind to know that there was going to be some one popping in to check on her welfare and assist with any continence care she needed. This service was provided to my mother, until she sadly passed away. I was assured that she received the best quality of end of life care in her time of need. Mrs N Blows
