Jun 1 2022 An elder in our family has been receiving care from Sterling Standard care agency for a month now and its been difficult. The carers say theyve been trained but numerous areas have been shown to be dangerous from the way they heat food to a lack of turning up. Family members have had to call nearly daily due to carers not arriving on time. Our senior person is regularly given breakfast at 11.30am when weve requested earlier times. The carer also nearly burnt our elders hand and mouth by heating a glass bowl in the oven. We dont feel this agency has professional care standards. Their carers are given back to back jobs starting five minutes apart when they need to get buses to different areas..which means they are consistently late and negligent. We are disappointed.
