Unfortunately, I spent 8 hours in A&E yesterday, just to be administered drugs that I told the receptionist and all the nursing staff that I saw, that I had been referred and recommended to visit by my GP. I had a referral to see an ENT doctor. I saw four nurses, which was a complete waste of everyones time, before they then agreed I should see an ENT doctor. All of which was explained by me, to reception and to the first two staff nurses that I saw that Id already been referred to directly see an ENT doctor. I was ignored for hours on end, not even a hello, how are you feeling, can we help....just staff constantly walking past. I had no food or water and unbelievably the only options are crisps and chocolate! This was a traumatic experience for me, caused by a lack of communication and caused by inefficiencies which was completely avoidable

I came to A&E this morning with a lot of pain in my tonsils my neck was swollen I felt dizzy and sick ?? the doctors and nurses here were so quick to help me and make sure I was out of pain and throughout the day the nurses kept checking on me I definitely felt looked after ??
