After having a gynae op I was taken to Ward 12 where I was greeted by friendly and helpful nurses who ensured I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Throughout my 4 days in the Ward the treatment was exemplary. The nurses always took time to explain what was going on and what future treatment I needed. I had to return to the unit on two separate occasions as a day patient and once again the nursing staff could not have been more helpful. I would also say the Ward was kept beautifully clean. Perhaps not much praise is given to the kitchen staff but I thoroughly enjoyed the meals which were produced always coming up to the Ward hot and tempting. In these troubled times with the disputes in the NHS it is comforting to know that you will still be seen and looked after as best as possible. My heartfelt thanks to all the staff on Ward 12 for making my stay in St John’s such a pleasant experience. |

Attended minor injuries today with my 12 yr old son. From reception team- triage - radiology and nursing teams I can only say how impressed I was. Professional, courteous teams who worked very efficiently turning us around in 2 hrs. Very impressed as an NHS staff member myself- massive thank you. |

I visited the X-Ray department yesterday for an ultrasound scan. My experience was excellent. I was taken on time and the scan was performed with care and efficiency. All my experiences at St Johns in recent years have been positive. Full marks, thank you. |
