I was given the chance to take a cancellation for some minor surgery, took it and the op was the next day. Staff couldnt have been more caring. Appt was at 12:45 but needed to be home by 4pm some 25 miles away as expecting a call for an MRI app, so was first on the surgeons list. Op was fine, and the post-op care was excellent. Only downside was there was nowhere for my carer to stay on-site during my 3 hour visit. |

This month I have had reason to deal with both of the above departments. Service has been exceptional and much appreciated. Thank You - Hinckley Hospital. I was asked to send a phone review but this is impossible on my basic mobile phone. |

I visited for a gastrostomy. I was pretty scared but the close proximity to my home, the well organised service on arrival and the kind and helpful reception and nursing staff, all helped to ease my anxiety. The doctor doing the procedure was excellent. He explained the process and made me feel at ease. He was very gentle, kind and very efficient. He also said what a good job Id done when finished and just made the whole thing less unpleasant. The nurses during the procedure were kind,attentive and helped me through it. Aftercare was very good and only once they felt Id recovered from the procedure , could I leave. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from all staff and with the procedure itself, which was made much less scary nor as awful as it could have been. Many thanks. |
