I visited for a gastrostomy. I was pretty scared but the close proximity to my home, the well organised service on arrival and the kind and helpful reception and nursing staff, all helped to ease my anxiety. The doctor doing the procedure was excellent. He explained the process and made me feel at ease. He was very gentle, kind and very efficient. He also said what a good job Id done when finished and just made the whole thing less unpleasant. The nurses during the procedure were kind,attentive and helped me through it. Aftercare was very good and only once they felt Id recovered from the procedure , could I leave. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from all staff and with the procedure itself, which was made much less scary nor as awful as it could have been. Many thanks.
