Staff at Hallum Street are monsters they laugh at mental health patients, restrain and overdose them and treat people even with low level needs worse than animals. What is the governing body CQC doing about this??? Staff or shall I say preditors at hallum street need a reality check. I would sack them all and put them on medicate and sedatives treat like they treat their patients. In their lifetime they will require care and be treated the same way they ill treat patients . It's funny how staff can refuse caring for patients at hallum Street if they become abusive. On the contrary, when patients are abused and overdosed ignored and laughed at, it okay is it?? What world does the healthcare system live in??? Disgusting

I’ve just been released after spending a month here. If you care about your family members mental health DO NOT LET THEM STAY HERE! The staff are unprofessional and predatory. They have no idea how to help people and they take pleasure in seeing vulnerable patients break down. They laugh at the patients, have confidential conversations in front of you and leave you feeling very unsafe when you need them. When you try to complain to doctors (if you even get to see them) all they do is increase your medication to knock you out. I witnessed staff abusing another patient and when I tried to help them I was restrained and locked in my room. No food. No nothing. Very dangerous place and the staff do not care at all. So glad I got out but I still worry about the other sick patients in there. Please please do not let them take your family in there.
