I popped into Boots Kendal for a box of Co Codamol. Quite taken aback when the person behind the counter said in front of a queue of customer's...these are addictive!! And you have bought these quite regularly! I thought back and it was at least 4 to 5 week's prior that I had purchased a box and probably the week before that. My doctor is aware that because of back problems and because the codeine is such a low dose there is not a problem. I fully understand the sales person must be careful and mention to customer's re problems. But no discretion at all and no confidentiality what's so ever. Very embarrassing indeed. Of course I will never enter the above store when she is serving.

It's getting worse! They have repeat prescriptions for 10 days sometimes and they're still not done when you go to collect them. They say they don't have your prescription when they do. They have you wasting both your own and GP's time chasing prescriptions up when they have it all the time. If they haven't got one item they don't bother making the rest of it up. They always blame it on being busy and that excuse has now worn very thin. After this week's debacle I'll never use them again. Use at your own peril!
