I've been going to this pharmacy for 6 years now & apart from brief periods of shake-up, the experience has been pretty poor. 1 pleasant staff member aside, they always give the impression of being disturbed by the customer & doing us a favour. They make a lot of mistakes, systems don't work & they they never take responsibility for these frequent errors. The text alert system is chaotic, sometimes works, sometimes not. The claim to a 48 hour turnaround is double that in reality. Items listed on the request are missing (this is only discovered at home), prescription requests from the surgery can sometimes not be located. When this happens you are instructed to call the surgery who correctly insist they have sent it through, necessitating a return visit in person whereupon the item is located because they look on the right part of the system. They are only contactable by phone, that there is not on online service in 2021 is baffling but is consistent with the '70s style service ethos. I intend to migrate to Boots a few minutes away once I have researched the process of doing so. |

We have had nothing but repeat problems with this pharmacy. When you call about medication being wrong or not delivered they always give reasons such as short staff or no delivery or no prescription and pass the buck constantly without solving problems. Its so unprofessional. I have changed pharmacy now after we were left without extremely important life prolonging medication for a week and on calling to query it they claim they never had a prescription for items even though i had spoken to the pharmacist myself the week before. Had to get our GP practice to intervene just to get the pharmacy to send us what they owed us and the surgery told they had indeed received prescriptions from the GP surgery 8 days prior. They treat people like idiots and its appalling. Extremely unprofessional, unorganised dreadful service and im extremely angry at the treatment we received. This chemist's staff are friendly and polite and will help you if needed and I have been getting my prescription for a number of years from here and the electronic way is much better.
I get my medication the same time each month already made up without having g to ring and order a repeat prescription as this has already been done.
