Princess Christian Care Centre is one of Nellsar flagship Care Homes. A state-of-the-art facility built in 2009, the Home provides specialist 24-hour care for elderly residents with a diagnosis of Dementia, or who have Nursing needs, and is staffed by a highly skilled and dedicated team of Nurses and carers.
Care at Princess Christian takes place in a tranquil and highly supportive environment. The Care team understands that moving into residential care can be a stressful experience for someone who has been accustomed to living in their own home. With this in mind, residents and their families are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their familiar belongings. This helps to create a ‘home from home’ and help residents live as independently as possible.
The Home offers bedrooms that are all tastefully decorated, with TV and telephone points. Other amenities include a Visitors& room, a Cinema room, a Physiotherapy treatment room, an onsite Hair Salon, a Sensory room, two dining rooms, two lounges and extensive secure gardens. Residents are also encouraged to remain active. The Activities team ensure there are a wide variety of personal and social activities available – something to suit everyone needs.
