Yaxley House is a beautiful 15th century building in a peaceful rural setting. It has four acres of grounds and a secure courtyard garden for residents& pleasure.
The home provides excellent person centred care to its residents in a friendly, homely environment which is adapted to suit each individual daily wishes.
Yaxley House has a modern, purpose built unit for up to eighteen residents who have dementia, which is built on one level with easy access to the residents& courtyard garden.

Jun 25 2017 Our mother was treated with the utmost care and respect, her final days were made the more bearable by the kindness of all the staff who all took the time to spend time with her even down to the catering staff from the kitchen who in her time in the home had become her friends, we as a family cannot thank everyone enough for the wonderful care that she received and we will be forever grateful!!!

Aug 3 2014 Being the relative of one of the residents I must state that my review has no problem with the care staff who do the best they can. I am, however, appalled at how those in charge treat their staff, though it is clear that they have their favourites, as witnessed in how they'll speak down to one member of staff while in the same breath treat another with kid gloves. Those put in charge have an attitude problem with is not conducive with the professionalism I expect from those in charge of a care home. The staff are wonderful, those put in charge of them are most definitely not. My mother loves the staff which is why she likes to be there, though if it were up to me I would move her to another care home, if only in protest at the high-handed, snooty behaviour of the managers towards their staff. Having run my own business for 35 years, I know the importance of staff moral. It is clear that those put in charge at Yaxley House do not - a case of 'do as we say because there are plenty more where you came from'. I can only hope the staff can eventually find other employment in which they'll be treated with respect for the good work that they do. The managers on the other hand have no people skills from what I have evidenced.
