Care Home Information |
Montana Care Home is a residential and nursing home with strong values, allowing residents to choose their own way of life and personalised support. They provide person centred care based on respect for human dignity and the personal development of each individual to promote a secure and loving family atmosphere and care for people, regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnic origin, nationality, colour, religious persuasion or belief, cultural or linguistic background, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability. They offer long-term care but can accommodate short-term care (including respite) when there is availability. The Home is set in a traditional single-storey house, now extended to provide spacious accommodation in the very heart of rural Suffolk near the culturally historical town of Bury St Edmunds. They have accommodation for 19 people (16 rooms - 3 of them can be used as double rooms with en-suite facilities) and provide residential care of the very highest quality to older people (male and female) who are in need of care through frailty, disability or choice. Friends and family visit at their convenience and are able to spend as much time with their relatives as they wish. |

Having had a fall whilst on holiday in Palma needing major surgery there and being flown home. i could not return to my home so booked in here. They have been wonderful !! Every possible care from the nuns and lay staff. No restrictions and every whim catered for. Even taken on a trip to Felixstowe !!If I cannot make out living alone again I hope to return.......and at 92 I would not wish for anything better |

This home looks after my father, currently aged 93, and we cannot ask for more from them. A small home with a family touch and a good range of services. I am comfortable that my father is in the best possible place to meet his daily and increasing needs. Volunteers provide activities and friendship to the residents and raise money for trips etc. The food is excellent and great care is taken over cleanliness. These people have become my friends and it is a tribute to their calling that the home runs as it does. |

This is a small home which allows the staff time to really get to know the residents and thier families, this creates a real home from home environment. Meals are taken in the communial dining room which also encourages interaction between residents.
Social events are organised each day such as scrabble, bingo and film morning, there are also yearly trips to the sea side for fish and chips.
The home has a lovely warm feel with staff always willing to help, families are also welcome at all times and actively encouraged to join in social events and outings.
The home is beautifully clean and residents are happy, a lovely place. |
