Harvey House is a bright sunny residential home. Although it lacks enough ensuite rooms and the very latest social facilities such as cinemas, games rooms etc, it more than makes up for in terms of staff care of the residents. My father stayed here for about three months before he died, he was very deaf, almost blind and had increasing dementia. The staff were always, kind sympathetic and anxious to do their best for him. The management were approachable if we had any concerns and did their best to include us in any trips or activities they arranged. They arranged palliative care for him at the end and went out of their way to ensure both he and the family were cared for and supported. |
