Kirby Grange caters for a wide range of needs including those for people diagnosed with dementia and offers an excellent living environment for all residents including those with a physical disability. The home also offers respite and day care services.

Not only does the care team, described many times as "wonderful", deliver great and loving care but they do this whilst ensuring Kirby Grange provides an enjoyable and fulfilling social environment. Carers are trained to support and enhance each resident quality of life and the service philosophy is to help residents maintain as many life skills and personal freedoms as possible. Visiting hairdressers, beauticians, therapists and health professionals, including dieticians and GPs, add to the capabilities of the home and visiting entertainers add to wide range of activities run by full time organiser.

Wherever possible they strive to ensure residents carry on with the same interests and activities they did when living independently.
