Built in 1984, the Petersham Centre is a Short Break and Life Skills Centre. It can support it has 12 short break beds and 4 life skills beds& for adults with learning disabilities from age 18 and over, of varying abilities.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who set quality outcomes which we have to adhere to. You can view their assessment of our unit on the CQC website.
The& centre is located in Long Eaton on the outskirts of the town which.& It has direct links to the M1 A52 A50.& Close to Derby City and Nottingham City.
The centre is run by one registered manager and four deputy managers. There are 50 members of staff intotal.& All residential scoail care staff & are all trained and have NVQ level 3. We have at least 4 staff on duty in the morning and in the afternoon. There is at least two staff in the building at night. The level of staffing is amended to meet the needs of the individuals as required. |
