Lack of care, lost false teeth, shoes, told by senior member of staff should have put a label on teeth, how stupid is that. Have replaced other lost items. Would not recommend here we are with an 83 lady suffering with Alzheimer and no teeth. Shortage of staff not my problem.

Our Mum has recently died and was shown such dignity and love at Lake House. Mum was admitted with slight symptoms of vascular dementia but loved her room and enjoyed the company and activities. As years went by she thought she was one of the staff and the staff encouraged her to help with teas and cleaning the tables which she loved. When she became bed ridden and could not do anything for herself the staff became her second family. Where we could do no more, they took over. She didnt really know us but she had cuddles and kisses from the lovely staff.

My Mother was a resident of lake House for the last 7 years of her life. She was cared for kindly and with dignity and real affection as she loved cuddles. her care was faultless, being given regular small amounts of food and fluid and repositioned due to her fragile skin. The staff were like a family to her. I myself nursed for 20 years and saw no signs of negative care for my mother.
