Felix House is a Recovery Pathway Service based in Weston-super-Mare that offers specialist nursing input over a 24 hour period.
Staff work in partnership, enabling up to eleven people with complex mental health needs to develop and maintain their independence utilising a solutions focused approach to care and support.
The service is within walking distance of the seafront and benefits from a selection of local amenities nearby.
The service comprises of two adjoining Victorian properties which have been adapted and include:

•& & & & & & & & & & Separate kitchen and dining room
•& & & & & & & & & & Educational activity room

Accommodation is arranged over the ground and first floors and has recently benefited from new double-glazed windows and a new roof. It is soon to have internal improvements such as a training kitchen fitted, enabling service users to learn basic cooking skills.

Activities
Support is person centered, thus enabling people to create their own meaningful occupation. This may include accessing the educational activity program that includes taster workshops such as:

As a Recovery Pathway service, support is person centered using the Recovery Star to evidence people regaining control of their lives, as a result of this outcomes-based approach, people are able to enjoy living in a Therapeutic environment that aims to up skill the person enabling them to achieve a positive move on to greater independence.”
