Sep 29 2015 My mother was at Heatherstones for 8 weeks. We as a family thought the care and concern for her was second to none but in our case my mother was unwilling to try and get mobile.The staff , physio, and Occupational Therapy team where doing their utmost to coax her to become independant again it was frustrating as a family to watch my mother ignore all their efforts now she is back with us i know she realises she made a mistake. We can not praise the whole team enough and thank them for everything they did. Heatherstones itself is lovely home from home in some cases we need more places like this for people to be encouraged to get back to their own homes. Thankyou to all the staff from the Shields Family
