Jun 19 2017 My uncle spent 6 weeks at Florence House- last may/june. He received excellent care by brilliant attentive,caring staff. I was always made to feel really welcome when I visited him. Its a lovely care home, small so it doesn't feel like a 'care home'. Highly recommended.
Original Comment Report...Florence HouseBy: Anonymous Rating:.. Dec 5 2016 We have been so happy to see the loving care that has been given to our aunt by the staff at Florence house. The atmosphere there in the small care home with seven residents is that of a loving family. In their care our aunt has thrived. In addition she receives help with eating and has gained weight which was a priority for her. In their care she feels safe and has made good relationships with other residents as well as staff. The staff are responsive to her needs and always welcoming to us. Her personal care is executed beautifully enabling her to maintain her personal dignity as she is always well presented as she was when cared for herself. We feel that they have taken time to get to know her and as a result they understand her and her needs and she is very happy there.
