Located in the peaceful village of Hulcott, near Aylesbury, Hulcott Nursing Home is a beautiful 19th century house sympathetically converted and extended to provide the highest standards of residential and specialist nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen. Hulcott Nursing Home is steeped in history. Formerly the village rectory, the house was built in 1862 and is reputed to have been designed by George Devey, the architect famous for developing the Wealden vernacular style and responsible for the Hulcott School. Since then, the home has undergone a comprehensive but sensitive modernisation programme, retaining important period features while ensuring that the highest standard of care can be provided. Residents’ rooms and communal areas are decorated and furnished to a level one would expect in such a fine building. |
