Impossible to ever get through by telephone, so visit in person to try and get an appointment. Often there are items missing from my regular monthly prescription. Visited three times for last shortage but still not rectified although have run out of my drugs. Last time saw GP she said I made her tired! Staff training every lunch hour and afternoon closure at least one day a month to my knowledge, but all this training does not appear to improve standards at all. |

My overall impression of the surgery at the moment is that it is not fit to practice. I have been trying to get an appointment for 4 weeks and had to go to the Urgent Treatment Centre twice and call a dr out from the 111 service, both said that they would tell you that I needed to see a dermatologist urgently, but I found out yesterday that I had not been put on the 2-week Pathway. I myself had contacted dermatology and was advised that the first appointment available is October!! By that time I could lose my finger, as it is now the wound is getting bigger and more smelly all the time and it is very painful. |

My wife phoned to make an appointment this morning, she was 49th in the queue... 49th! So desperately needs a medication review so her medication doesn't run out, so she waited on hold in the queue. We got into the car, drove to sainsburys, did some shopping, went and filled up the car with diesel, drove home, made a cuppa, and then I left the house to take the dogs for a walk, when I returned some time later she was still waiting for the call to be answered. It took 2 hours and 35 mins for the call to be answered. Is this acceptable? Or is this just an absolute joke of doctors surgery. Why isn't this complete mess being addressed? |
