I phoned in to make an appointment with the travel nurse for vaccinations to go abroad ,and after 10 mins of her trying to find the diary she said no appointments were available and to go private . I am appalled at this and told her so as I have been paying my NI contribution for 47 years and this is not a free service !!!! | ||||||

I have been a patient at Crawley Down Health Centre for 40 years. Over the years resources to operate the centre have dwindled and dwindled. The past 10 years have been particularly bad. Despite this the staff have tried to maintain a good level of service. I find it sad that criticism is directed at the staff from other patients who clearly have no understanding or empathy of the increasing pressure that staff are working under. On the rare occasion that I have required an urgent appointment they have always managed to squeeze me in. The treatment and referrals given to me has always been excellent. | ||||||
