Been with this practice when it started as was with the original Dr’s when at Weston favell, Since dr Rao retired it has not been the same, I have several conditions that cause me lots of pain 24/7. The nurses are great no problem with them. But the dr’s have gone into hibernation not actually seen one for almost two years now every day we are told things are now open and back to normal? Dentist are treating patients but doctors are hiding behind the phone, cannot really explain what is happening to me and all of my symptoms, so I am just suffering no quality of life find it difficult to get my repeat Perscriptions to my pharmacy on time as the office staff seem to be in charge and say you cannot have it until a certain date, as mine is postal They need the Perscription early so they can sort it for me into daily packs Which takes time and they WONT RELEASE IT UNTIL ITS DUE ANYWAY. So I end up with no medication because the office do everything to the letter no flexibility at all. I could go on but it won’t make any difference at all. |

Been with this surgery for 23 years, when calling to book an appointment you’re told to ring at 8, I usually start calling at 7:45 and I won’t actually get through to reception until 8:30ish where I’m then told they’re fully booked and I should call at 8. I’ve had to go down to the surgery to make appointments and depending on who’s at reception depends on if they can find appointments. When I have been down for my appointments it’s always empty. The phone will ring and the receptionist I’ve noticed will only answer every second call made, the locum doctors are fantastic and if I can get an appointment with them then I will, when the previous doctor was there he was always brilliant and helpful, now that he’s left the new doctor doesn’t seem that interested in helping and has even told me I was wrong about my symptoms and then a locum actually agreed with me and managed to fix the problem. The nurse is lovely she’s got a wicked sense of humour. The main issue I have with the surgery is the receptionist, on more than one occasion she’s messed up, I needed a load of blood tests doing and when I spoke to her about them she would constantly get it wrong, I had a 10 minute conversation with her explaining my non fasting blood tests means I can actually eat, she still logged it down as a fasting test despite the doctor requesting a non fasting. |
