I recently had to contact the surgery more often than usual recently regarding my elderly father. The receptionists were kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The doctor we saw was patient and caring and gave us ample time to discuss my fathers health conditions. A really great service all round |

I have been meaning to write this for a number of months. I am pretty much a surgeries worst nightmare, as have suffered from severe health anxiety for a few years, resulting in numerous visits/phone calls with the staff at cricketfield.
Many of my problems have been completely trivial to the outside eye but have caused such anxiety that I've turned up at surgery in a very bad state.
Never have I not been taken seriously, never have I been made to feel stupid or unimportant. The care that all staff have shown me has been simply wonderful, from reception to nurse practitioner to Dr.
I have gone from anxiety controlling my life to me controlling it, from being in contact with surgery a couple of times a week to having currently been away for three months. This is mainly due to your wonderful nurse practitioner who I wish I could name, who has always been available to me and provided wonderful support and encouragement, extending my appointments out week by week.
Thank you really isn't enough but is all I can do here Reply from Cricketfield Surgery Wed, 25 Oct 2017 11:20:22 +0100 Thank you so much for your lovely kind words. The Nurse Practitioner you refer to is Kathleen Clist and I will pass on your positive comments to her and the entire team. We really do appreciate all feedback so thank you for taking time out of your day to do this. Tracy Green, Practice Manager |
