Born and raised in Torquay ,i was originally a patient with Brunel medical practice, I found it difficult to get an appointment by telephone, and it became harder to get sometimes waiting weeks, So changed to Chillcote ,just before Covid , so not the best time to change doctors. I have to work for a living so trying to ring through in the morning to get an appointment can take hours, and more likely than not I just give up , the rare times i have had appointments I dont think I have seen the same person twice, I had an appointment with a nurse for blood pressure last year she didn,t have the wright size cuff, so put it around my wrist, ! I tried e mailing to get an appointment , and a doctor rang me back ,and said in future I could e mail the surgery, I have e mailed them twice this year , still haven,t seen a doctor ,so given up . |

I rang this morning at 9.30am and spoke to a very cheery receptionist. Within 10 mins Dr Allsop rang back. An appointment was made for me two hours later. Excellent care and attention as always from her. It really is an excellent practise. |

Can always get a GP call back, the GP will the book an appointment for you, usually same day if needed. Nursing staff and doctors are very thorough and caring. Have been with the practice for over 20 years! |
