This is hands down the worst GP practise I have ever had the misfortune to attend! The receptionists are some of the most rude and unpleasant people you will ever meet. On a good day your appointment will only be running 45 minutes late, on a bad day after sitting around for 2 hours past a (pre booked!) appointment time I had to leave without seeing anyone as I had other commitments. The receptionists as usual were completely unhelpful. If you go up to ask how much longer it will be after waiting over an hour they will treat you like a naughty school child. Unfortunately I have also found the nurses and doctors at this clinic to be rude and unempathetic several times. I changed to another practise and it is unbelievable the difference. This practise claims its lateness is justified as there are things are occurring in the background but my new one must surely have the same scenario and yet they manage to be punctual the vast majority of the time. The few times they do run late they always apologise for the wait and the receptionists are warm and friendly and happy to give you an estimate of how late they are running. Normally on a bad day at my new practise the waiting time would still be less than an average day at this surgery. Not only that but it is much easier to get an appointment in the first place, and every member of staff is polite and treats you with dignity. At the ridgeway surgery they are patronising, rude and can make you feel awfully down when you are at your most vulnerable. | ||||||

Where to start! Made an appointment for an asthma review for my daughter. Having never taken her for a review since joining this surgery I explained to the receptionist we’d need to see a doctor nit the nurse. No, no, no I’m wrong the receptionist explains (even trying to tell me my daughter has had an asthma review here) so she books us in to see the nurse (months wait obviously). We go to appointment (which was only 5mins late-hurrah!). Nurse explains she can’t really see us, we’ve never seen a Dr for my daughter’s asthma since joining the practice. Oh what a surprise! Went to reception. A month’s wait to see a Dr. Good job we’ve organised this well in advance so her asthma is not actually an issue. | ||||||

Been to this surfers 2 times in 3 years and both times had to wait over an hour after the appointment time, then the doctor rushes to get you out quick to get the next patient in, not recommend anyone join this doctors. | ||||||
