I have been a patient at this surgery for many years. In fact, I was a patient when it was originally situated at 96 Maldon Road. I particularly like the Open Access. It means if I get to the surgery before 10 am I will be seen by the GP. I do not always get to see my preferred GP but this is not important - what is important is getting the treatment I need when I require it.
I agree with others that getting an evening appointment is not always easy but with the Open Access, this does not present a problem for me. The only negative comment I will make is the surgery is now part of Colchester Medical Practice. However, patients can only see GPs at their own surgery. It would be beneficial if a GP could be seen at any of their practices?
I highly recommend this surgery to anyone who may live within the catchment area. | ||||||

The doctors always listen carefully, provide extremely good, balanced advice, taking all factors into consideration. In spite of the large numbers of patients, they know individuals very well, and genuinely care for them. They treat everyone with the utmost respect. | ||||||
