Once again I had the need to contact E/C medical centre and received an excellent service from receptionist - duty GP who contacted me and arranged for a prescription to be collected from pharmacy. Wot an excellent service. | ||||||

This practice is full of doctors working from home. Some are 'self isolating' and others are just plain lazy. Paradoxically, the reception staff and all the nurses are working well but the GP's have a lot to answer. Telephone triage does not work. I have met patients who have complained bitterly about the standard of care received from East Calder Medical Practice. I hope the GP's can stop blaming the pandemic and just start working properly. Finally, the long boring monotonous telephone message needs to be changed. Goodness knows how many patients have felt suicidal listening to that. | ||||||
