I can't understand these reviews that have been written. I've always had polite staff, clean shelves and prompt service when ever l get my prescriptions. |

Twice booked a diabetes screening at this pharmacy, twice I have turned up without them expecting me and without anyone to do the test, and therefore sent me away. Terrible service |

Lloyd’s is the only pharmacy in town so they don’t have any competition which they think allows them to treat customers however they want. I went to pick up a prescription on Tuesday afternoon to be told it wasn’t sent over yet. I decided to tell them I’d be back a few days later hoping they’d have my prescription ready in the mean time...but I was wrong. I walked in to get my prescription on Thursday to find lots of people waiting (as usual) and I was told I’d have to wait 20 minutes for my prescription when they’d had about 48 hours to do it! A lot of other customers were at the end of their tether as they had either been waiting all week or at least an hour. A customer was expressing their disappointment in about having to wait and she was met with a rude and abrupt result and told not to ‘slate people when you don’t know their job title’(she got the pharmacist mixed up with someone). This is not the first time I’ve seen unacceptable behaviour from the staff. One dispenser was arguing with a customer from the dispensary and thrust the stack of baskets in his line of sight saying ‘this is what I have to get though before I can get to yours’. He asked if she could quickly check an item was going to be with his prescription before he went and came back only to be told ‘I don’t have time to deal with you’. As a town we are stuck as we don’t have another pharmacy to go to and I don’t see why we should have the inconvenience of finding another pharmacy in another town because our local pharmacy are so unacceptable. It really puts you off having to go to the doctors and get a prescription for something as you know it will be a trauma to get your medication. Reply from LloydsPharmacy Fri, 26 Jul 2019 10:03:06 +0100 Hi there Thanks for taking the time to post your review. I am very sorry for the disappointing service and wait times you've experienced when visiting our pharmacy - this certainly isn't the level of service we expect for our customers. I understand it must have been very frustrating returning to the pharmacy and to find your medication still wasn’t ready – I apologise for any upset this caused. I will ensure your feedback is recorded and shared with the Regional Management Team, who will take any appropriate action found to be necessary. I hope that the pharmacy team will reflect on this matter and make the appropriate changes to their professional practices. I apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you see an improvement in future. Jas |
