My brother visited my father at the home to wait for the doctor to call, dad has been unwell for some time, and cannot speak for himself as he has dementia,my brother waited for 2hours to finally be told it was the doctors day off,no communication at this home at all. The doctor might come tomorrow,in the meantime dad hasn’t enough pain relief.the managers door is always closed, any family input is not welcome, I think at 97years of age all you want to be comfortable, which he is not at the moment. |

Visiting my father today I found him covered in sick,I pressed for the carers and they came to change his pyjamas,I then found one of the nursing staff and told them of dads sickness, they said he had been put on strong antibiotics for his chest infection, they never came to check on him,no one came to his room and we were there for over 2 hours, also the management there seems to shows no concern over any off the patients there it's as they don't exist, complete ignorance of any relatives visiting not even a hello to any one,the home needs decent nursing staff, day and night. |
