    Dennyshill Care Home Exeter, Devon is a privately run Independent care home in a peaceful location in Exeter. Over a number of years, Dennyshill’s proprietor, Tracey Hibberd has made many additions and extensions to Dennyshill to ensure our care home fulfils all the necessary needs for all service users to make their lives not only comfortable, but maintaining independence.

    We are also able to provide care for elderly with learning and physical disabilities. Dennyshill can accommodate up to nine service users of either gender who have reached retirement age. Established for over 25 years, we pride ourselves on providing a family & homely environment. The morals and values of our Care Home are never far from our minds. We accept individuals or couples in need of short term respite care, or long term care.

    Dennyshill Care home Exeter, Devon is registered to provide accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care. Dennyshill provides care to elderly service users. Dennyshill is a large bungalow all on one level with no steps. There is level access into the care home to aid wheelchair users and those a little unsteady on their feet. Internally Dennyshill care home is tastefully decorated throughout and comfortably furnished. There are five single and two twin / double bedrooms. Most of the rooms overlook the gardens,large lawn and in the distance the rolling countryside of Devon. All the rooms have a pleasant and airy feel. All bedrooms are nicely decorated and residents are more than welcome to bring their own furniture if they wish. All rooms have plenty of storage space for personal possessions. Large lockable storage is also available. We have electric hoists and stand aids which are available for residents who require lifting.

    The main areas of the care home are communal. The lounge and dining rooms are large and spacious with furniture to suit personal needs. The open plan kitchen is bright, cheery and the setting for the many mealtime discussions when the residents are all together. It is also used to host the care home’s special occasions such as Birthdays, Christmas and general get togethers. Residents are encouraged to eat together in the dining area, however they may have their meals in their own rooms if they wish too.

    There is a large decking area which is used a lot in the summer. Residents can sit outside under a large static gazebo in fine weather and enjoy an ice cream or just watch the world go by. At Dennyshill, we like to put the ‘Home’ into Care Home and have a strong emphasis on engaging with all our the residents. Our extremely experienced team of care assistants always put the care of the residents at the forefront of their priorities. Dennyshill is one of Exeter and Devon’s premium Care Homes.
