Alexandra is situated in the heart of the town close to Hemel Hempstead Hospital and Gadebridge Park. The home is surrounded by a relaxing garden, featuring flower beds and a patio – a wonderful place to relax with friends and family. There are plenty of communal areas which provide space for group and one-to-one activities.
The home is run by a strong team whose priority is the resident’s happiness and peace of mind. Families feel very at home when visiting and they enjoy the stability of the care team – some of which have worked there a number of years. Jan 12 2017 This place one word "amazing" truly the best fit for my relative. they welcomed us in as a family even the younger relatives that can be overlooked get there say and welcomed with offers of tea and even updated you on your relative once they first see you. they provide great activities for the residences even if they are bed bound, if your looking for a care home that has the best office staff and caring staff well you found it. the idea of having a relative put into a home is hard for anyone. yes it's your relative so you want the best and yes its a big decision but when you have that welcome feeling and that full welcome tour of the place you will understand the service they can give your relative and peace of mind that you need. 24hr open, secure ,dogs very welcome and staff hard working, nurses brilliant , excellent staff from manger to admin and health care assistants to the extra activities they do for free on top (nails) having a chatter with residences. the cheerfulness at Christmas and they way they say its not just a room it's now your relatives home make it your own. it really helps.
