This is a really good GP surgery. Apart from one doctor all of the doctors here have treated me with dignity and respect. The doctors here have given me hope that I can recover from mental ill health as in the past I was told that I would never get better. When things are really bad even a little bit of hope and someone having faith in you can go a long way. What is fantastic at this surgery is the fact that despite having a mental health issue my physical health is given equal priority and is not brushed off as part of my mental illness. In reality this has translated to me feeling confident to address some longer standing issues that I had previously felt scared to address and this has improved my quality of life and strangely enough had a positive effect on my mental health! Also unlike in previous surgeries I'm offered double appointments without asking and am trusted to request my own repeat prescriptions and am not questioned endlessly about why I'm on medication. For the first time in my life I've had the chance to be in control of how I access healthcare and more importantly am treated equally. Of course I do mention one doctor I did not have a good experience with but that is just one doctor and I can chose to see others anyway. | ||||||

My wife and I have always found the reception staff to be extremely helpful, courteous and polite.
This also applies to all the fantastic nursing staff and of course all the doctors that I’ve met at the practice over the last 30years.
Some moaning patients I’m reading about on this website should be grateful that we have such a well managed practice in our locality. | ||||||
