.Very disappointed , Almondsbury surgery was great before although I hardly used it when I did it was excellent . Was told to have a pre diabetic check by letter. Booked an appointment , was told it would be 4 weeks , ok booked in for 24th July . Booked day off work losing a days pay as I’m self employed . Received confirmation text day before . Then 75 mins before the appointment received a phone call telling me they have to cancel . The nurse has not turned up . They apologised as said would have to re book and start the procedure again . Why did they wait till 1 hour before appointment to cancel ?? Why couldn’t someone else do the tests etc . They have walk in appointments every day so a sniffling kid can be seen straight away by a qualified gp. But what course of redress do I have , nothing , the nhs is a monopoly can’t go anywhere else . Haven’t been to the dr in last 3/4 years . I won’t bother rebooking , I’ll just do a walk in with any symptoms I might have and let them sort it out then . However the website showing surgery times isn’t working , so can’t even do that . |

Always had posotive experiences here, so glad I changed from another local surgery. Very convenient walk in surgeries daily and able to get a repeat prescription very easily. Always been treated well and so has my daughter. |
