I've given up with the telephone system. My experience has been identical to the comments above. You call either in the morning of afternoon. Don't even get an engaged tone, or put on hold you just instantly get cut off. You have to redial 30-40 times and by the time you get through all the appointments are gone anyway. Pre covid used to be able to book a selection of on-line appointments up to 4 weeks in advance. Why can we not go back to that? This would take pressure of the telephone system to an extent and make life a bit easier for both practice staff and the patient. My last contact when I saw the doctor was very good. Had a problem with my hearing and got seen next day (I sent an online request on the Sunday) and was advised my ear was blocked and I either needed private treatment or possibly over the counter medicines would sort. Over the counter drops haven't worked, so I've booked an appointment for ear was removal for the end of Feb 2023. |

Can never get hold of anyone. They tell you to call back at 2pm when slots become available ‘on the system’ but you can never get through. Even if you do, you’re on hold indefinitely. Completely useless. |

Moved to this surgery in the last year, and have found it to be excellent! Appointments,face to face, diagnostics and referrals, also quick and effective link with B/Stoke pharmacy, thank you! |
