The initial investigation was through my dentist, as I was convinced the discomfort to be teeth related, which led to referals for specialist reviews and diagnosis and surgery with postoperative treatments, as I have private medical care. Post surgery and during radiotherapy the doctor has been very supportive' supplying: reassurance relating to radiotherapy, advice on mouth infections, neck skin infections, return to work. The practice nurse provided excellent care with postoperative removal of clamps and stiches. |

I went to the doctors for my first appointment since joining. I’m only 18 and the reason I was going to the doctors was regarding a sensitive issue. That I had not spoken to anyone about apart from my boyfriend, hoping to go to the doctors to receive guidance and support. I couldn’t have came out feeling more lost and unsupported. I was physically shaking with anxiety when I left. My doctor couldn’t have seemed more disinterested and simply told me he couldn’t help me. After researching a few things before attending my appointment, I found myself telling him information. The entire appointment was completely pointless. After the experience I had to seek help elsewhere. And in doing so I discovered that my doctor had misinformed me and not given me the appropriate advice and help in any kind of way. I didn’t think trying to seek help would be so difficult and left me feeling frustrated and upset. When the only help I received was over the phone, when I eventually managed to get help. Honestly the treatment I received has made me lose my whole faith in a service I expected would always be there for me when I needed it. |

I spent 45 minutes waiting on the phone to make an appointment this morning, it finally came to my call and they put the phone down on me!! This is totally unacceptable and extremely rude, it made both me and my husband late for work and please don't tell me it was an accident. Very annoyed and still don't have an appointment. |
