Disgusted to find care home rang with concerns re my Mother on Thursday 29/819 & told to phone if no better on 2/919. Apparently no doctor would go out to see her & prescribed ANTIBIOTICS which were FAXED to Boots & would go to the home the following day!! At 4'45pm I visited (2/9/19) as was wanting to see my Mom prior to going to my daughter s wedding on 4th September. My Mom was in a dreadful state yet told YOUR SURGERY/DOCTOR WOULD NOT VISIT!! I took matters into my own hands & rang 111. Good job I did. Mom was admitted /spoilt my plans as was at hospital till 11pm then crying for 2 days as torn as scared my Mom wouldn;t make it yet needed to be at my daughters wedding!! SHAME ON YOU& THE WILLOWS WHERE SHE PAYS ALOT OF MONEY FOR CARE | ||||||

I needed a routine appointment. My 16 year old son has reported eating disorder. I had 3 episodes of blood in the toilet. I called daily at 8.30 but each time I get the same reply, no appointments, try tomorrow if its routine.I asked how I could get a routine appointment for me to attend with my son for his eating disorder (his request) outside my work time.... call 8.30. Your website states you have pre book available... call at 8.30, but I keep trying, do you have quieter days? Tuesday and Wednesdays, just call at 8.30. 1 week on and neither of us can get seen. I spoke to my hospital consultant, .... you need an appointment with your GP. ... yes, I would love too. So you get desperate - its now urgent .... Can I get an appointment? what for you and your son? yes, is it urgent? it is now, why did you not call in the week? I did, ok ill add you but we only have telephone left, you will need to be with you son... sigh... call him instead? Ok, updating details, doctor rings me, sorry I could not get hold of you (I was on the phone with the surgery still)...... What can you do to get help? | ||||||

I have had several surgeries in the past due to relocation but this has to be the worst for trying to get an appointment. If you call past 10am in the morning you’ll be greeted by a friendly receptionist telling you to call back up at 8:30 the next morning to get an appointment that same day, even when I was advised by another doctor to arrange a priority appointment as my partner had contracted a nasty bacterial infection and I was displaying the same symptoms. There was no triaging or questions asked, just call back up tomorrow. When you call up at 8:30 be prepared to be greeted by the engaged number a lot...Then we do get through hope that all the appointments aren’t fully booked. I would not recommend this surgery. | ||||||
