I have been with this surgery for a very long time, one particular doctor is my main GP, I can talk to him disagree with him but always respect him, as he has seen me through so many illnesses, never makes me feel like I'm wasting his time. |

Myself and my family have been patients in this surgery for many years since i was a student nurse living in the hospital accommodation. The service we have received has always been exceptional .The staff on reception are always polite and helpful ,the medical staff are excellent .I would not hesitate to recommend this surgery to friends . |

It is nigh on impossible to make an appointment for an 'on the day' . Surgery asks patients to ring at 8am. For three days this week, I have tried ringing from 7:50am to hear the engaged tone. Finally, when I spoke to receptionist at 8:05 the first day, 8:10 the second day and 8:05 the third day, I was told all the appointments had gone! In the past, I have managed to get a same day appointment by waiting on the doorstep for the surgery to open but this is not satisfactory when feeling poorly. I was eventually booked an emergency appointment which ran 40 minutes late.
I do seek advice from a pharmacist for an ailment before seeking treatment from a doctor and only go to the surgery if I feel seriously ill. As a primary carer for a friend with terminal cancer, I need to be in good health. |
