Takes forever to get an appointment with random disinterested doctors. Never have correct paperwork, never follow up. No interest whatsoever - I have seen 5 doctors one was very good - never able to get an appointment with her again. The rest were hopeless. I rarely go to the doctor but won’t bother again, if I get really bad I will go to A &E. |

This surgery has an enormous catchment area , and I have found that the staff and doctors always have time ,and are kind and helpful , especially when it is an emergency .
Having the dispensary in the same building is very helpful as it saves having to park in the village .
Many thanks to you all. |

I very rarely visit the surgery - once in the last 3 years. I had to go recently and was dreading it - instead I easily got an emergency appointment. I was allocated to the GP who runs the emergency appointments. My appointment was delayed but I believe this is due to the very thorough approach taken by said GP. When it was my turn, I met a charming, empathetic doctor who listened to my various concerns and answered comprehensively. In previous times, when I had severe depression, another GP at the surgery was absolutely brilliant and listened and understood my problems. Yes, it is a very busy surgery - not it's fault but the fault of our local authorities for allowing development in housing to exceed the infrastructure that supports it. I think we are very lucky to have a good surgery in our village - when I was waiting I noticed a lot of people going through from infants having vaccinations, people having blood tests and other emergency patients. I hope that the funding comes through for the necessary extensions and improvements, but in the meantime I think the surgery should be commended for what they achieve. |
