The medical staff and other staff I have seen here so far have been excellent. However, the practice manager lacks really important values such a kindness and genuine understanding. This is so important for patients health and wellbeing. Everyone needs to be valued, I think that is when a deeper level of healing can happen. |

Generally waiting times for appointments aren't too bad but the staff are a different matter... There's only a couple of GPs that I am comfortable with because the rest just don't want to hear what I have to say. And god forbid I ask them a question... whether I am having a telephone or face to face appointment, some of the doctors I've seen are just trying to get rid of me by talking in a very rushed way and barely answering my questions. The admin staff are terrible. Every single one of them so rude - for example I was trying to explain why I wanted an appointment the other day and she just kept talking over me and not listening to me. She said the surgery would get back to me to give me advice and of course I have not heard back. Another time I was on the phone and asked a simple question (like do you have an appointment some time next week) and the receptionist huffed and puffed a few times before looking for an answer! I am absolutely furious that I pay tax so that I can get treated like this. It's absolutely insulting - the receptionists' job is not difficult and although I know some patients are probably very rude and unfair, you cannot treat everyone with so much disregard. |
