I wasted some 25-30 minutes filling out page after page of pointless questions in the evening including what medication am I on - you are my doctors! I was then sent next morning an appointment by text for 7.20 pm that day which I duly turned up for to find the surgery closed! Fortunately another doctor was leaving and set me up an appointment for the next day. On re-checking the web site I also see you’ve also set me up an appointment I know nothing about In two weeks! This was for an urgent request! You make it virtually impossible to get an appointment then when you think you have got somewhere you get sent totally spurious text appointments that do not exist. Also I notice you don’t bother to respond to complaints on this site many of which are about your dreadful e-consult system and appointments. The web site is misleading and implies you can get appointments online which used to be the case now it is close to impossible to do anything useful online. |

Had blood tests taken today by a nurse, what a nice person, had dealings with her before and she is very good at her job, and should be given a rise. |

Few months back, I was able to actually book a routine appointment and see my doctor. I had to wait 63 days - yes, 2 months, for a routine appointment. Now, they accept no new bookings. "Everything is booked", I was told by receptionist. Was also told to come back next month to see if I can book an appointment (which would be, again a month or two of waiting first). Apart from that, telephone line often doesn't work at all, I tried yesterday few times and today morning, before heading to surgery myself. Receptionist insisted that line was down for max. 10 minutes this morning and apart from that everything is perfectly fine. Other patients waiting in a long queue behind me confirmed to her, that indeed they also tried to reach surgery by phone to no avail. Online booking doesn't work completely, this has been verified by receptionist - you can't book routine appointment. Big button on their page "Book a Routine Appointment" is a fake, there is no ability to book one. I verified this, clicked the button, has been redirected to my chosen provider PatientAccess. I logged in. In the menu Appointments -> Book new appointment there is no ability to chose routine appointment, only blood test, smoking or ECG appointment. Medical care in this surgery is worse than many 3rd world countries. This surgery should be reviewed by NHS auditors and banned from practicing. |
